Hakeem’s Space is In loving memory of Hakeem Nzimbi Aquil.

Hakeem was born in San Diego, California and grew up in Tampa, Florida.
He was active in his local community. He was a gifted Athlete who loved to play basketball and run! Hakeem ran 5 to 10 miles daily and dreamed of visiting Iten, Kenya. Home of the running Champions. Iten is a small town located in the Rift Valley province.
Kenya is his mother’s native home. Hakeem’s legacy is the gift of life through organ donation.
He is missed dearly by his Mother June, Father Curtis, Sisters Aisha and Sade, Nephew Malachi, and Niece Amara.
