An annual shoe drive and sports support initiative organized in loving memory of Hakeem Nzimbi Aquil—an avid athlete who dreamed of training alongside Kenya’s world-class runners. Based in Iten, the world-famous home of Kenyan distance running, Kicks for Kenya collects and distributes quality running shoes, sports apparel, and training gear to promising young athletes and student runners in the region, helping them pursue their athletic dreams while promoting youth wellness.
